Kimi has a diverse background in education that spans over 30 years. Her experience ranges from elementary teaching (2nd through 4th grade) to school counseling at all levels (elementary to high school). She holds a Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Services, an Elementary Education certification, a Master's degree in Education, and a Master's degree in School Counseling.

Her areas of expertise include supporting students in executive functioning, stress management, and anxiety. Kimi employs a range of strategies, including Mindfulness, Coaching, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Kimi places a high value on fostering safe and supportive relationships with her students through empathetic listening, unconditional positive regard, and a strengths-based approach. As a tutor, she firmly believes in integrating cognitive and emotional skills training into the academic environment, empowering students to learn the skills and strategies necessary to overcome challenges and attain their academic and personal goals
